Youkai March 2016 - Kitsune

Highly demanded for at my first convention, it was both a challenge and a pleasure to rework my old Kitsune print. With many of these shapeshifting Youkai, it can hard to choose which form to show. I still like the idea of the human side barely concealing the animal side, and this composition lead to a very interesting take on it. The kitsune behind were inspired by both Okami and Hiroshige's famous print of foxes in a moonlit field.
